Forgiveness as medicine for peace of mind and healing

You are a spiritual being, using a physical body. As such, you must seek mostly what is spiritual, not the reverse. Don't forget your main purpose here, which is to use the world as a means for getting back home, through forgiveness and love. But, there is something very important to remember. It is that you cannot do it alone, without some help. This help is given by the Holy Spirit in you.

The Holy Spirit is your savior, because he knows everything about your life and is able to do for you what you cannot do for yourself. That is why you must leave the driver's seat of your life and completely rely on him, instead of counting on your pitty self for sustanaible solutions to your problems .

Joy, peace or love cannot precede forgiveness, just as healing cannot precede the treatment of a disease. That is impossible. Forgiveness, which is the medicine of your soul to heal your shady  mind, must come first, before healing can take place in the form of peace, joy, etc.

It is only when your mind is healed, that the experience of something else can follow. That means, your other needs are fullfilled after the appropriate state of mind is achieved.  Nothing can be found in shady water,  quite as nothing constructive can go out of a disturbed spirit.

So stillness, which is  for water what forgiveness is for the mind,  is required, before clarity may come and enable you to find what you have been searching  for so long, the Holy Spirit; the solution to all your problems, which has always been there, waiting  for you quietly, patiently and lovingly.
 
The only reason you weren't able to find Him, up to this moment, is merely because you continued with  excitement to disturb the water of the river (your mind) with all your unconscious negative thoughts, instead of calming down, letting go and relax, in order to achieve the stillness state that brings clarity and healing.

 "Seek first the Kingdom of God and everything else will be added onto you". Realize that the key to the Kingdom is forgiveness, through which  clarity, love, joy, happiness, good, kindness, peace, gratitude, appreciation, charity, satisfaction and so on, can be found. As soon as you unlock the door, you can then experience all other benefits.

The mistake most people do is seeking the benefits first, in form of acquisitions, for instance. However, in this way, it is but putting the cart before the horse. God, All That Is, should be your main center of interest, before anything else. Consequently, love Him unconditionally and, let the Holy Spirit guide you, as you don't know how to do.  It is in this condition only, that the rest (health, relationship, acquisitions...) can follow.

The fact is, when you put something else before God, it will take time to come into manifestation. As a result , you become frustrated, anxious, worried, unhappy, disappointed, etc. And, due to the law of attraction, the more you feel that way, the more you become so, and the less you have chance to get what you want.

Everything that happens is for your highest good

Wanting to change a situation implies lack of love and understanding, which is translated by the level of resistance generated in us and by the willingness to escape from the thing that threatens us. But this resistance only gives more strength and reality to the situation, which is merely shadow and smoke, instead of making the deisired change happen .

Questions:

• Why would you resist something or a situation you know nothing about?
• If you believed that the unconditional love of God for you is true, that you are eternally blessed, safe and that everyhing that happens to you is for your highest good, would you resist them?
• If you knew that all your sufferings and miseries are only the result of your wrong judgements and appreciations of what is, would you keep judging and suffering anyway?

The fact is, you have no clue about whatever is happening to you. But one thing is true, everything that comes your way is for one reason. It is because God loves you, and everything happening to you is for your highest good. That's the premiss you must bear in mind whatever you may be confronted with.

Having this mind, what would you do instead of resisting?

• Forgiving yourself for judging and resisting what life has brought for you but seems disturb you.
• Blessing and loving the situation, whatever it is, realizing it is here only for your highest good
• Expressing gratitude to God for your safety and His unconditional love for you
• Relaxing totally, and giving Him all trust and faith for all the outcomes of your life
• There is much more you can do from this point, those being just some basic indications of where you can start from.

You are not stuck, but just learning...

Life is a big school, in which all of us learn and evolve; without exception. But, until you learn the lessons of a specific class, you would not be able to move to the next. Sometimes, you would learn faster in one class than in another, and move rapidely to the next. Other times, you would stay in the same, for so long that you would feel stuck, so that time would seem interminable to you.

All this would depend on the lessons to learn, as well as on your willingness and readiness to learn and understand them. According to me, the more you would spend time in a specific class, the more valuable your lessons and your improvement would be.

Whatever the situation you are in, remember that you are learning and then, be willing to take what is there for you. There is always something to grasp; always. And very often, you cannot see it because you spend most of your time resisting your current circumstances. Instead of wondering why this happens to you, your question instead should be, what is there for you?

Doing so, relax yourself and and be still. Then, wait for the answer which, soon or later, will be revealed to you. This answer is always there, waiting four your willingness to find it. But, only your resistance prevents you from finding it.

It is only when you have learned the lessons put there for you that you would be able to move to the next class; but never before, and no matter how long it would take and how hard you would try.

That's why it's an error to believe you are blocked or stuck in any situation. This would create only more resistance and more frustration in you. Instead of that, say to yourself that you are learning a very important and valuable lesson for your evolution then, be truly willing to know and learn it. With this state of mind, you would achieve more release and, in time, chances are that what it is there for you as lessons would be revealed to you, and you would understand.

A fruit cannot fall from the branche by itself if it is not yet quite matured; remember that. Therefore, be patient and let time be your allie. One day, you would see clearly and be ready for the next lessons.

Also, in life, people think that because they live together in the place, they are the same, learning the same lessons. This is not true. Everyone of us is learning his own lessons in his own class for his own awareness and evolution. We have the same spirit or soul, but not the same awareness while still living in this world. That is why it is useless to try to live someone else's experiences, "good" or "bad".

Again, although being of the same Source, we are not the same in this world. That's why there has been a very little change among human beings for milleniums on this earth, dispsite all the spiritual knowledge they have been given by many masters.

People can read spiritual or self help books, listen to sermons in churches and synagogues as they like, but because their awareness is not in alignment with the too high level of knowledge given to them, they would probably fail to apply it and would just remain the same.

Of course, for some of them, the things they hear or read would sound very good and touch their soul. They would really love them and feel very anthousiastic about them; but this anthousiasm would not last. Because some time later, all this would vanish without benefiting them, for they were not ready yet for the knowledge presented to them.

You can verify it in our daily life. For example, take courses from university and teach them to sudents from primary school. Really, do you think they would get anything from them? I don't think so. Eventually, they would grasp a few words here and there, but it would be very difficult for them to get their full meaning.

The same thing could even apply to adults for disciplines completelly unknown to them, at the point that even when the message would be provided in their habitual language, they would also experience lots of difficulties to follow and get all the details of the message delivered to them.

In conclusion, resistance is useless in this world of learning we are in. Learning could be delayed, however escape from it is not possible. No jump or quantum leap are authorized by the laws that govern this universe.

The only solution is to face your life as it is, courageously, without resistance. Then, patiently and consistently, willing to learn all the lessons you have to learn, through people, events and circumstances, in order to achieve there, the awareness that will lead you to the next level of your learning.
