Your difficulties are your best teachers

Your so called difficulties, failures, obstacles, shortcomings, blocks and everything you perceive and judge as "bad" are your best friends, not your ennemies. Did you know that?

Most of the time we are happy when things go as we like around us, and when they don't we cry and become miserable.

But the truth is that we learn and progress better in our life only through difficulties or shorcomings. We don't learn anything at all when everything in our life is just as we like it . Our diffiulties are in this sense our best friends.

We shouldn't resist them, they are in our life for a reason, which is to teach something highly valuable to us so that we may learn the lesson, grow and fly, like a butterfly getting out of the chrysalis.

So, instead of resisting, fear or worry about something you think is threatening you, welcome it, embrass it and be ready to learn. When you do it, the lesson will be delivered and you will progress to the next step of your evolution.

There are no such things as problems or obstacles

Yes, that's true. Problems or obstacles are but merely opportunities for you to declare and choose who you are and who you want to be. They are not there to have grievance for, neither to be worried nor feared.

As opportunities, they should and must be met with gratitude, appreciation and love. Just as Benjamin Franklin said:" Notice the blessing in everything, big and small. Dwell on the beauty in all I see, hear, touch, taste and smell. Realize that everything is a gift from the almighty and is put there in order to enjoy and learn from".

As you see, gratitude, appreciation and love are the only answers which are to be given to any situation whatsover that seems to bother you. Because, as a creator of your own life and not a victim of it, you are given the chance through them to choose rightly, in order to become little by little Who You Really Are.

What you are creating is how you react to people, events and circumstances that come your way, and the way you feel about it is what is called your "life". The question is, how would you like this experience to be?

Yes, you've got it. Your life is based on your state of mind which is produced by your reaction to what you experience now as "good" and "bad". And this experience, in turn, is dictated by the way you judge everything that happens to you.

That's why you are often said: Judge not! You don't have enough clarity to do so and to really appreciate life as it is. Therefore, your only alternative is the one described above which consists of appreciating and being grateful about everything for the apportunity they give you to choose your true Self and thus, get back home.

You are here to grow

You are here to grow and evolve, towards the best of your own self. And don't worry, you are doing it whether you want it or not. But, in order to really grow and achieve mastery , you must overcome all the adversities and challenges that come your way.

What we observe among most of people is that when some adversity, difficulty or obstacle are before them, they start to resist. This resistance could be illustrated by their worries, anxities, fears, resentment, anger and all kind of negative states.

The truth about any adversity is that it comes into our life for our best interest, which is to make us stronger than we are, in order to grow and gain self mastery. Only for that, we should say thank you to any seemingly obstacle or difficulty placed on our path, instead of resisting and desperatly trying to escape from it.

When you are not confronted to obstacles and difficulties, you cannot grow. Curiously, most people prefer their life to be like that. They do all they can to avoid challenges in their life, prefering the tranquility of their comfort zone. That's why their life is so insignificant and with no meaning.

When those king of people come to die, it is not even noticed. It is as if they had never lived. Did they grow ? I don't think so. People who grow are those who dare, are ready to face up to rejection, and keep moving forward against all odds.

Untill you become like them, you will never grow and express your full potentiel. Think about it !

Now, my advice to you is: when placed in front of any challenge or difficulty, be silent, still and patient. Don't be afraid. Just wait and see a power greater than you handle the situation you are confronted to.

Savour every moment of your life

Life is a gift, the most precious of all gifts, from which everything else proceeds. Without life, you do not exist and, if you do not exist, there is nothingness.

But, most of the time, we neglect this precious gift, because we are lost in the grand scheme of life with its challenges, obstacles and all kind of troubles at the origin of our doubts, worries, fears, etc.

We are engaged in a pursuit that never stops, until we die and hand over to others behind us. But if we could stop just a moment, and be conscious of the chance we have right now, just for being alive, things would be different for many.

They would savour every moment they have, and appreciate this blessed gift we call life. People live as though they are their body, which they think is eternal. Death, physical death, is always for someone else, not for us. If they could know when their turn would come, they would change their mind about life, then be grateful and appreciate it more. Things they neglect now would have another signification and another meaning.

To live is like walking in a cloudy day, or in the dark, without an idea of what stands before you. Then, as you make your next step, you fall suddenly into a precipice. You never know what is before you in life. Never.

Therefore, before you fall, stop just where you are and appreciate whatever is in this moment, and be grateful for this opportunity you have of being there. Do you know why ? Because in this very moment, someone like you, has just left the show.

Savour every breath in, and every breath out, now and then. Forget anything else. That is, to live...

Teachings from the universe

The universe speaks. And it speaks to us every day, and every moment. But, we are so blind and deaf, that we do not realize it at all. The universe is not something separate from us. We are part of it and everything around us as well. And everything that surrounds us has it individual and unique message for us to listen to and a deep and pofound lesson to learn and apply in our life.

Take a tree, for example. What is its lesson for us ?

- Stillness
- Taking roots
- Etc.

When we look at a tree, those are some of the lessons it teaches us permanently. Stillness means, whatever happens in your life, such as obstacles or challenges, don't panic. Never. Be quite, be still like the tree. The turmoil will pass, like the wind, and you'll still be there. Don't panic, or fear.

What about taking roots ?
When you look at a tree, a big tree, it is deeply rooted in the ground, without which solid growth, or stillness would be impossible. You see, ground is essential to the tree.

We, as human being, should have something similar or identical, that supports us and helps us grow strongly also. God , or spirit in us, is that something. We must be deeply rooted in God, to maintain our stillness or power, and to grow and resist to any challenge or obstacle that may come our way.

God is the ground in which our roots must be digged in. It is the anchor to the boat of our life. But, how do we get rooted ? We do it trough conscious thinking. In every moment and every day of our life, we must think of God as our anchor, or the ground in which our roots are profoundly diggged in.

Make it an habit of thought. Your attention and focus on God will serve as a link to establish this relationship between you and Him.

Do not let the so called obstacles and challenges distract you from this connection. Instead, stay determined to maintain it, no matter what.

Next time, we'll interpret another lesson from the book of the universe.
